The preseason has concluded which now means the Chargers are going to be cutting the roster down to 53 players getting ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Being that the preseason is over now; the team must start making their cuts down to their final roster. The Chargers will need to get down to the 53-man limit by 1:00 PM PST on Saturday, September 1st, 2018.After the Chargers have made their cuts they will have the opportunity to claim other players off waivers.
